This is a poem I wrote about Narnia

Winter’s stories

By Noelle Pruitt

Based off The Loin, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

It was at the start of winter when it all started to happen, or at least that’s what they say,

The griffins started to came down from their mountains,

The talking beasts hurrying along to get to there before the end of the day,

The dryads and niaids excited for once to leave their fountains,

Cair Paravel stood as faithful as ever facing the sea,

At the entrance the High King Peter the Magnificent greeted them one and all to the tale telling

Queen Susan the Gentle tended to every ones needs, making sure everyone could see,

King Edmund the Just went about yelling to start everything,

While Queen Lucy the Valiant greeted her old friends,

Soon everyone was ready,

The sound of the of the children’s voices filled the

Great Hall,

As they welcomed everyone,

Then it began,

It started with Queen Lucy telling the tail of how it all happened,

The Wardrobe and the winter was everyone’s favorite,

Then each group told a tale, new and old.

The dryads and naiads told tale far in the past,

The centaurs the future,

And the talking beasts the present,

Once all was said and done came the best part,

Father Christmas came giving gifts of all kinds,

Though this is another world we should always remember at Christmas and any other time,

To be gentle, just, and valiant and to serve the Emperor over the Sea.
