10 cool facts about horses...

Just like the title said. 10 cool facts about horses. (Hey, I was bored.)


1."Old Billy" an English barge horse lived to be 62 years old! (Most horses only live to be about 30 and that is if they're lucky.)

2. Drought horses are the strongest land animal apart from the elephant.

3. There a round 750 million horses in the world!

4. There are over 350 different breeds of horses.

5. The difference between a dun and a buckskin is hard to spy. A dun had a small black line going down his back he has strips on his legs.

6. Most foals are born at night under the cover of darkness and away from prying eyes.

7.Horses cannot breathe through their mouths. That's why you'll never see one panting like a dog.

The four natural paces for the horse are the walk, trot, canter and gallop.

.Blue eyes horses are have whale eye. (This is kind of rare and don't worry. It doesn't affect the horses seeing.) (My sister asked to see a picture of a horse with blue eyes. I chose this picture because it is so cute!)
