Poem

This a poem that I wrote a while ago. I've been meaning to post it, but haven't had the time. some of you people might reconize it because I posted it a while ago. But I made corections, so read it!!!

Lady Winter

Lady Winter sits on her throne in the ice palace hall.

Her hair is like the dove’s feathers.

Her eyes like deep dark pools.

Her skin is as white as snow.

Her dress folds out before her like water of a brilliant blue.

The staff that lies at her side is topped with a jewel that outshines that stars.

The white tigers that sit at her side are quietly looking at each other ready to pouch at anyone who is unwelcome.

The snowy owls that sit on the windowsills look up at the moon in reverence.

A single, white rose in the center of a banner flutters in a dance with the night’s spirits.

The cold wind blows in, silently shaking slightly the ice daggers that drip off of the monuments.

The lone wolf sings its woeful song to the moon for everyone to hear.

Lady Winter listens, deep in thought.
