Sick

Ug, I'm sick. I don't have a fever, but I do have a stuffy nose (more like node now.) I have presher on my head, I'm coffing, and I'm sleepy. (But that is due to the medicine Mom gave me.) I'm sick enough to feel really bad but not enough to get off school or anything else. I just feel like this: blah. (Yes, that is really how I feel, ask anybody in my family.) I hope I get better soon, I hate feeling like this.

What do we do?

This is just a poem that I thought of this afternoon. A little strange, but I like it.

What do we do when your friend falls down?
Do you comfort, do we cry with them, or do we simply listen?
What do we do when a friend breaks?
Do we talk to them, do we try and fix it, or do we leave it up to them?
what do we do when a friend tries to hurt you?
Do we hurt them back, do we forgive, or do we leave it the way it is?
What do we do when a friend is hurting?
do we pray, hug, or give advice?
what do we do when a friend falls down?
we Comfort, Cry, Listen, talk, forgive, pray, hug, give advice, and most importantly just be there for them.

What's up

Today was kind of a werid day. Dad is sick so he had to stay home from work, nad you can tell that he's really sick because he had to stay home from his Presbitary class. My Valetines was the a normal day with chocolate wich deffently made that fine with me. Today I didn't do much, I read a lot but that's cool here. Mom and Beccah went to Spanish class, from what little information I could gather it went..("Beccah how spanish class go?" Beccah stares at the tv.) I guess that means that it went pretty good. School is going pretty good. I still hate Alegbra (and spelling isn't all that hot either.) Tonight on Lost they're going to capture one of the others! Tomorrow I think I'm going to paint a painting. I have all this specail stuff that one of my sisters is letting me use. (she painted this cool painting ofr our bathroom with this special paint and paper, and gave me the paper when she was done.) the only thing is, I don't know what to paint. So if you people are really there could you give me some ideas. I have a whole pad of paper so I'll probably end up doing a horse any way, but I want to do something else. So be creative and give me your ideas!

Today We did...

Today we played out in the snow the whole morning til lunch. (We didn't have any churchbecause of all the snow.) Then we did a little church service of our own here at home. We talked about a passage in 1 Cornithens 7. It was really good, I'm sometimes surprised sometimes at how deep my family can be. Today was a nice and relaxing day.

10 cool facts about horses...

Just like the title said. 10 cool facts about horses. (Hey, I was bored.)

1."Old Billy" an English barge horse lived to be 62 years old! (Most horses only live to be about 30 and that is if they're lucky.)

2. Drought horses are the strongest land animal apart from the elephant.

3. There a round 750 million horses in the world!

4. There are over 350 different breeds of horses.

5. The difference between a dun and a buckskin is hard to spy. A dun had a small black line going down his back he has strips on his legs.

6. Most foals are born at night under the cover of darkness and away from prying eyes.

7.Horses cannot breathe through their mouths. That's why you'll never see one panting like a dog.

8.
Horses cannot vomit.

9.
The four natural paces for the horse are the walk, trot, canter and gallop.

10
.Blue eyes horses are have whale eye. (This is kind of rare and don't worry. It doesn't affect the horses seeing.) (My sister asked to see a picture of a horse with blue eyes. I chose this picture because it is so cute!)

The Speech

So this a little something I had to do for school, but it turned out so well I thought that I'd share it.

The Speech

By: Noelle Pruitt

It was the first day of March; the birds were singing their little hearts out. Too bad mine was in my toes. I hated walking to school. The walk itself was wonderful because Maryland’s pretty countryside greeted me everywhere I went. It was the school that was the problem. Ever since moving here I had been teased out of my mind. Most of the time it was because I didn’t have a Dad. I knew I had to blow it all off, but sometimes it was just really hard. I didn’t have any friends either, not if you don’t count Buster and God. Buster was my Dad’s horse, but when Dad died Mom wouldn’t sell Buster so I got him. It was awesome having a specially bred jumping horse. Though Buster could be a pain sometimes, he was definitely my best friend. He was always there to listen to my problems and help me get out of my bad mood. God did the same. When I was down I would just talk to Him or read my Bible. It always made me feel better inside.

Stopping at the school doors I looked through my bag again, hoping that I had forgotten something. No such luck. As I opened the door a boy in the hall called out, “Hey, look. There’s Penniless.” Everyone laughed, with me as the only exception. It wasn’t that we’re poor, just that mom’s work as a writer had us on a tight budget. We were lucky that Mr. Wes let us keep Buster at his barn for almost free (I worked for him after school giving younger children riding lessons, grooming, mucking out stalls, and leading trail rides.)

When I reached my locker I retrieved my English notebook. Today, everyone was going to give a speech on what his or her father did for a living, that was what I was dreading. I didn’t want to tell everyone about my Dad. (None of them knew.)

Everyone settled in as Miss Lara, my English teacher, came in. “Hello class,” she said in her normal perky way. Of all the people at school she was probably one of my favorites. “As all of you know today we will be giving reports about what your father does. Michele, would you like to start?”

A Korean-looking girl nodded, stood up front, and told us about how her Dad was a pilot. All-in-all she gave a pretty good report. Next was a boy named Jerome, whose Dad was a builder and had built some really cool buildings. (He passed around pictures.) Soon it was my turn. I took a very long time going up front, I always sat in the back. When I got there my palms were sweaty and I wanted to melt into the floor.

Miss Lara gave me a nod to start, so I began to read out loud. “My Dad was a very special person. Some people knew him as The Undefeatable, others knew him as a world-class super star, but I just knew him as Dad. When he was away on a trip Mom and I would stay up at night to watch him on TV. I loved to watch him with Buster flying over those huge jumps while my Mother’s soothing hands braided my hair. It was a night just like that when he fell. I was eleven years old as I watched him fall in the ring from the other side of the country. Mom and I flew out the next day. I hated seeing him in the hospital with his leg up. Mom was so relieved when the doctors said he would be all right. That was a year before he died.

“Dad didn’t really mind having a broken leg, but he hated to leave Buster alone all the time. That’s when he started to let me take care of him. At first I was frightened to go near the big horse by myself. One day Dad came to the stable with me to help me with my own seat on my horse. (Her name was Starlight.) After we were done he asked me how Buster was. Feeling ashamed I told him that I hadn’t taken care of Buster but had one of the grooms do it. Dad simply gave me a hug and we walked down to Buster’s stall together. That is when I first learned to love the big horses. A couple months later Starlight died of colic. I cried a lot into Dad’s arms and into Buster’s mane. Finally Dad could walk and that meant that he started to ride again. Mom worried a lot, but Dad told her that the accident was not Buster’s fault. It was his for rushing the jump. Though Dad hadn’t been able to ride in awhile I saw the tears of joy on his face when he got back on Buster. I just remember what he kept on saying when he rode. ‘Thank you, God, thank you.’ I will always keep that day in my heart.

“A week or so later Dad was feeling funny again so Mom took him to the doctor. X-rays revealed that he had a tumor growing inside his brain. They wouldn’t do surgery because it would mean instant death. So my Dad had a little time to live and Mom and I spent every day with him. Sometimes we would cry together about how sad it all was. But in the end I’m glad Dad went to met his Maker. Mom had to start writing again. Her first book out was “That Amazing Man who Loved Me.” It was all about Dad; I read it every night just because it helps me get through the next day. God has always been with my family and I know He will be in the future, I just sometimes wish my Dad would have been there to see it with me.”

Taking a deep breath I reached into my backpack, pulling out my most treasured possession. “My Dad won six of these in his long career. Before he died he gave one to me.” Everything was still as I held up the Gold Medal.

Hope you liked it! *-*

This is a poem I wrote about Narnia

Winter’s stories

By Noelle Pruitt

Based off The Loin, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

It was at the start of winter when it all started to happen, or at least that’s what they say,

The griffins started to came down from their mountains,

The talking beasts hurrying along to get to there before the end of the day,

The dryads and niaids excited for once to leave their fountains,

Cair Paravel stood as faithful as ever facing the sea,

At the entrance the High King Peter the Magnificent greeted them one and all to the tale telling

Queen Susan the Gentle tended to every ones needs, making sure everyone could see,

King Edmund the Just went about yelling to start everything,

While Queen Lucy the Valiant greeted her old friends,

Soon everyone was ready,

The sound of the of the children’s voices filled the

Great Hall,

As they welcomed everyone,

Then it began,

It started with Queen Lucy telling the tail of how it all happened,

The Wardrobe and the winter was everyone’s favorite,

Then each group told a tale, new and old.

The dryads and naiads told tale far in the past,

The centaurs the future,

And the talking beasts the present,

Once all was said and done came the best part,

Father Christmas came giving gifts of all kinds,

Though this is another world we should always remember at Christmas and any other time,

To be gentle, just, and valiant and to serve the Emperor over the Sea.

Once Upon a Time ...

So this is just something that I thought of. Hope you like it.

Once upon a time there was a four children, but they were not like other children. You see they were born all at the same time. Like triplets you say? No not like triplets. You see they were all born from different mothers but they were they were adobted by their mother st they present. They all had the same birthday so they just said like they were triplets because that's how they felt toward eachother. They were the best fo friends and they could talk just like sisters too. But you see that there was something else that conected them togetherwith something vevn stronger than blood. You see when they were born an old lady said on word to their 'real' mother. To Noelle's mother it was winter. For Megan's it was it was spring. For Carrie's it was summer. for Bekah's it was Spring. Each one of their mother's screamed and told that strange women to go away. That women was mother nature.

Ok sounds weird so tell me what you think. Oh yeah and if you haven;t fugured it out. It's fantsy.

Just things that are going on right now

so right now in my family, things are a 'little' crazy. We're redoing the bathroom upstairs. Annalee did the floor and mom and dad did put in a new fossit and fix the toilet. So that is good. We started school back up again. (I am now even more that we should burn all the alegbra books.) Rutns out that this year I am going to try out for the national spelling bee. And for all you people who read my blog I know that I am not going to win. My friend Megan is like the best speller ever, but they need one more person for the test so she can try out so that is why I said yes. It would be so alsome if she won! I know she can do it. I mean she is eleven and she can spell parthenogenisis and other really big words that I would put on here only i can't spell them. annalee has a nose infection. That is so not cool. Elaine and Corrie both have coughs. Beccah and I are the only ones (Of the kids) that are heathly. christmas was a blast! Well bye!
