soccer and stuff

A lot of stuff is going on right now. I am still going to cornerstone. I think I'm doing OK. Beccah and I's soccer team almost won when we were weren't there last week. We had one goal through the game and then in that last two minutes on a corner kick on of our own players kicked the ball into the goal. I am really mad. This is my mad face D-:<. Yeah so we'll just have to win our game tomorrow. I improved Beccah's and I's jersey. I'll put pics up later. yup. that's about it.

Tired

The school year has come and things have started to fall into routine. 9th grade is harder then I thought it would be. I like my Geometry teacher, I'm not sure if I like geometry through. The rest of my school is the same old same old, just lots more of it and more in depth. Oh yeah, I'm doing Spanish with Rosetta Stone this year as my language. Its not bad. I like saying Spanish words, its fun.
I've been really tired lately. I thinks (I hope) its because I'm pushing myself at school and soccer and running. I just hope it goes away soon.
Soccer this year is different. I'm on the high school team with Beccah. We're orange and our team name is Hobbes. I drew pictures of Hobbes on our Jerseys. (I'll put pictures up later) As to the quality of our team, its not that great. We haven't won a game yet and we've played all the other teams. So yeah.
The family retreat was fun. I liked playing football. I caught the ball!! That's never happened before!! Go me!! I also had a lot of fun playing man hunt.
I've been drawing a lot lately. Maybe I'll put some pictures up soon.

My First Day of Cornerstone

Today was my first day of Cornerstone. I think it went pretty good. I saw Megan and Julia. I also saw Natalie, a girl from my previous soccer team and Erin and couple people from my present soccer team. Oh yeah, and Beccah, how could I forget her?
Anyway, there was people in my class then I expected, but other than that there where few surprises. Though only thing I need to differently next week is bring more work to do. I have study hall or whatever its called for three hours and I spent 1 of those hours doodling in my note book. I think I'll do ok there.

School Thoughts

YEAH!! I am finally done with my first week of school. Geometry is different then I thought it would. So far it most measuring this line and this angle and that line and recreate this segment and so on and so forth. I have a lot more reading this year then I did last year. Right now I'm reading a young peoples poetry book, a book about Cameron Townsend, and Peace Child. So far Peace Child is my favorite. Its a little graphic, but its very well written and very interesting. For Science I'm doing Physical Science Mom and Elaine. Every morning, for PE, we've been running a mile every morning. Its feels so good to run again!! For language this year I'm taking Rosetta Stone Spanish on the computer. So far its cool.

Soccer and School

Soccer start this morning. I'm on a team with Beccah for the first time, so we'll have to see how that goes. I'm in a tougher division then I was last year and I can really tell the difference. I hurt so bad after practice. I really need to start running again.


Its strange to think that school is starting this Monday. I'm nervous about going to Cornerstone this year and doing Geometry and well, yeah, I'm just nervous about school this year. Its strange to think that summer is over when it feels like its just begun. But this summer was a good summer, it is full of happy memories. Annalee and Eric's wedding, Victory Jam, The missions trip to Glen Burnie, and spending time with friends.

Life is really hectic right now for my family right now. Its kind of hard to explain, but I shall try my best.

First of all my Uncle George is back for two weeks. So we've been doing some stuff with them. On Friday we had his kids (Mathew, Lizzy, and Katherine) over for a sleepover, so that he and my Aunt Debbie could relax some. It went pretty well, except for Lizzy hurting her arm which ended up with Mom and Beccah having to take her to the doctor. But other than that it went well. We made play dough, Went to the park, made yummy bread, and watched the Swan Princess.

Sunday Afternoon we went to Aunt Debbie and Uncle George's house to have a spaghetti dinner with my Grandma and Grandpa. We played bounty hunters, in which both Katherine and I both 'died', ate spaghetti, celebrated Lizzy, Katherine, Mathew, and Uncle George birthdays and Aunt Debbie and Uncle George's anniversary, ate ice cream, cookies, and pie and other yummy stuff. Yeah, Twas fun.

Later that evening My sisters and I went to see the movie Becoming Jane with Annalee's maid of honor and probably the awesomest person in the world Christine. The movie was ok, very sad and had to much sex stuff and should not have been rated pg, but still I'm glad I went because its always fun to see Christine. She so understanding and kind.

My Aunt Meg and her two little girls are coming in tomorrow to stay with us and see Uncle George. I'm really looking forward to seeing her again. And her Girls. Ella is now three and Lilly is maybe three or four months.

AHHHHHHHHHH!! SCHOOL STARTS ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!! AND I HAVE TO GO TO CORNERSTONE THIS YEAR!!! AHHHH!!!!

Today I went to the dentist for a teeth cleaning and to get molds for my, can you believe it, retainers!!! That means that I will finally be getting off my braces in about four weeks. I can't wait :)


Some other stuff that is going on today is that Amanda S. is coming over and we're going to make Pavlova, so yeah, that should be a lot of fun. And that's pretty much it.

Yay!! I'm home!! I just got back from O. C. N. J. twas a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself, but I'm glad I'm home.

Life and Other Complicated Matters

I survived the missions trip and I'm really glad I went. Things that enjoyed doing the most were doing the skits at the end of the kids club, painting the deck, making birthday cards for the Bello Machre people, worship time, and justing hanging out and getting to know people better.

Annalee and Eric are renting a town house in a suburb of Chicago. Eric likes his job and Annalee just got a job teaching at basic music stuff at school. I have no idea what Eric does. Oh yeah, they got a little turtle too, I forget what his name is though.

School will be starting soon. I'm not so excited about that. This year I'll be taking Geometry at Cornerstone. I hope I do well. I really would like to push myself this year in school. I don't know why, but I just do.

I got my IOWA Test of Basic Skill results back. I SCORED ABOVE MY GRADE IN EVERYTHING!!! EVEN IN SPELLING!!! I'm so happy!! :)

We moved rooms this week. Elaine and I moved downstairs into Beccah's old room, Beccah is now in Corrie's old room, and Corrie moved upstairs into Elaine and I's old room. I like my new room. I have a lot more room and its cooler. Elaine has dubbed it the "Bat Cave".

Tomorrow my family is leaving for ocean city New Jersey. We're renting a beach house for a week and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to bring a lot of art stuff and a lot of books. I'm also looking forward to playing different games with my family, watching the tenth season of stargate (which we bought specially for the trip), being lazy, going to the beach, going to different book stores and just having a lot of fun. I wish Corrie could spend the whole week with us, but she's just coming from Tuesday-Thursday. Oh well, it'll still be a lot of fun. :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

I Finished!!!
I have finally finished that newest Harry Potter book despite my Dad's continues yells of "Isn't he dead yet!" And Mom and Corrie running around with there fingers in their ears, but I Finally finished it!!

The Best Harry Potter book ever!! I cried, I laughed, it moved me Bob. If you haven't read Harry Potter go out and read them all!! Right Now!!!!! It's awesome!! It ended perfectly!! I wish certain characters hadn't died, but that can't be help :( But one certain characters that you knew where good ale along turned around. I am so Happy!!!!!! *-*
